Hattie Larlham provides medical, residential, recreational and work training services to 1,800 Northeast and Central Ohio children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Hattie Larlham seeks a communications officer to join the organization’s corporate communications team. The communications officer is responsible for promoting Hattie Larlham’s mission and programs to internal and external audiences through print and electronic channels.

This is a full-time position working typical business hours, Monday through Friday. Some evenings and weekends are required as needed.

The position requires excellent writing and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and the ability to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite and experience managing social media in a business environment required. Two to three years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field required.
