Job Description

Are you an experienced RN/LVN HEDIS Abstractor looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company? Do you want the chance to advance your career by joining a rapidly growing company? If you answered “yes" to any of these questions – this is the position for you!


Daily Responsibilities:  

• This person will be abstracting data from medical records and entering into the database. They will occasionally be traveling to provider offices and work with their staff to review charts

• Coordinate, complete, and update management on clinical quality metrics and HEDIS processes and results

• Establish and maintain an action plan to improve HEDIS scores

• Implement process to request and evaluate member compliance reports for each HEDIS measure, including evaluating improvement opportunities

• Collaborate with providers and internal departments on rate investigation and validation activities, including maintaining all evidences, documentations, and changes

• Manage the HEDIS project to include assignment of nurses, adherence to plan timeline, and vendor oversight for timeliness and quality

• Conduct quality audit and maintain all data and process controls to ensure compliance


Hours for this Position:

• Monday-Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Pay rate starts at $27 per hour

Qualifications

• RN OR LVN licensure

• HEDIS experience STRONGLY preferred

• Computer Savvy/ Excel knowledge

• Detail oriented

• Good communication skills
