Job Description

Responsibilities include: create, manage, coordinate and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans; manage donation acquisition programs through marketing and community involvement; develop business partnerships and call to action oriented advertising that increases brand awareness; work closely with merchandising and retail sales staff to create demand and recognition for the company and it's products; respond to requests from the media and act as spokesperson; prepare and deliver speeches to further public relations objectives; plan and coordinate Goodwill special events; produce or facilitate the production of newsletters, news releases, advertising, brochures, pamphlets, tv copy, newspaper articles and other promotional materials; coordinate advertising efforts for all departments; maintain contact with area media to encourage coverage of Goodwill; manage website. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Journalism, Communications, PR, or Marketing preferred. 2 years experience preferred in the practice of marketing and public relations. Combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have intermediate to advanced level skills using web design software and the Adobe Creative Suite 5. Excellent benefits package. Must be outgoing, self-starter, articulate, and willing to solicit donations in the community. Must be able to pass background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record. Travel required within Central Texas (mileage paid). 

Additional Information

Pay is $30k-$35k annually, depending on experience
