Job Description

Spoon University is seeking a thoughtful, organized, curious, and detail-oriented Social Intern for the summer. This intern will specialize in creating video content for Spoon University’s social channels, specifically TikTok and Instagram Reels. The Social Intern will serve as one of the “faces” of Spoon University on these platforms and their main responsibility will be creating multiple videos a week. 

Additionally, the Social Intern will also research the latest social media trends, help schedule content, and analyze data to help make informed decisions on social strategy.

Qualifications

  • Current college undergraduate

  • Strong communication, organization and strategic thinking skills

  • Interest in writing and editing

  • Working knowledge of all G Suite platforms

  • Familiarity with social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest

  • Hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient and creative work ethic

  • Passionate about Spoon University mission 

  • A passion for all things Gen Z

  • A knowledge and love for the food industry

Previous leadership experience and involvement in Spoon University’s community, chapter network, and/or national writer program is preferred.

Additional Information

Remote internships are available to current college students year-round on a full-time or part-time basis. Internships are offered for academic credit and interns are paid a stipend. Hours are flexible.
