We’re a fun, fast-growing company looking to create the most inspiring, creative, and profitable company in e-commerce. You should be ambitious, creative, curious, and hard-working. In this position you’ll be asked not only to deliver beautiful experiences, but to communicate frequently and efficiently. Recent example projects include: updating our product detail pages to be a modular and responsive page, and researching, strategizing and designing concepts to improve our mobile experience.

  • Work collaboratively with our project managers, engineers, and other designers to build scalable solutions to improve our user experience
  • Work closely with engineers as your project is being developed, delivering any necessary edits, iterations, and specifications
  • Conduct user research to understand friction points and help define problems
  • Create data-driven solutions with the goals of higher conversion rates, increased order values, and no friction points
  • Develop and prototype process flows, wireframes, and mockups to clearly communicate your design strategy
  • Be able to clearly communicate your solutions to designers and non-designers alike

Qualifications

  • 2+ years UI/UX experience and an excellent portfolio
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, product strategy, and customer behavior
  • An understanding of the technical limitations of e-commerce platforms and how to work with, and around them
  • Able to distill complex problems into simple solutions
  • Embrace critique and able to iterate and re-iterate quickly
  • Experience with mockup and prototyping software such as InVisionapp, Adobe XD, etc
  • Basic to moderate understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript

Additional Information

* Hello, Andy — Huckberry co-founder — here. I honestly wish I could reply to each and every one of you, but we're starting to receive a ton of applications, and carpal tunnel syndrome runs in my family. So if you don't hear back from me, please don't take it personally. We're growing like a weed and will be hiring for a bunch more positions in the near future. In the meantime, see you out there!
