Job Description

Human Resources duties:

  • Advise managers on discipline and termination procedures.
  • Ensure company is compliant with all federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Benefit plan design.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, life, disability insurance and 401k.
  • Conduct and direct new employee orientation process. 
  • Prepare and process employee personnel records.
  • Enroll new employees in benefit plans and provide benefits orientation.
  • Assist with the recruitment process.
  • Create and maintain current job descriptions for all employees.
  • Execute, manage and administer company programs and training.
  • Update current Employee Handbook.
Health and Safety duties:
  • Maintains safety files and records.
  • Coordinate random drug and alcohol testing. 
  • Injury/Accident claim reporting to insurance company.
  • Update OSHA logs with injuries or incidents.
  • Maintain ISNet website with updates.
  • Schedule medical monitoring exams for employees.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources.
  • PHR preferred.
  • Prior experience developing and administering human resources policies, program and services, including legal compliance, employee benefits, employee relations, employment practices and procedures.
  • Assists with talent acquisition.
  • Administers elements of the company’s safety program in order to maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with client requirements.
  • Able to strategically and tactically evaluate and implement HR and Safety related programs and initiatives.
  • Able to work with a variety of organizational leadership to build consensus around HR and Safety  strategies and tactics.
  • Proven ability to attract and retain outstanding talent and assemble and motivate high performance teams.
  • Superior organizational skills are necessary.
  • Travel as appropriate.
