We are starting to build our in-house tax department to support the company's growth and we are looking for a Tax Manager. You will be part of the finance team and you will work with our local external partners to ensure tax compliance for each SmartRecruiters entity. Your main focus will be Europe (Poland, UK, France, Germany) but you will also be engaged in the global projects driven in our headquarters in the US.
What you’ll deliver:
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely filing of local tax returns (prepared by our local partners), VAT, and other business-related filings. You will also manage any tax audits.
You will support the company's federal tax returns preparation and timely filing of all other forms.
You will review our finance processes and ensure that there are relevant tax controls.
You will take ownership over the transfer pricing documentation and keep it compliant and actual working with external tax advisors.
You will provide support with various internal audits and special tax-related projects.
Have 3-5 years of experience in a corporate, international tax department
Have strong experience with a variety of tax operations and the ability to create procedures and drive process improvements
Have extensive corporate/individual/VAT tax knowledge
Are familiar with tax procedures in corporations
Are familiar with the general requirements connected with the transfer pricing documentation
Are a team player, ready for fast growth, flexible, proactive, and enjoying the fact when you can really make a difference for the whole organization
Have good communication skills in English, French or German will be great as well
