Organic Marketing's purpose is to provide our performance marketing customers an experience that matches their intent, satisfies their needs and encourages them to progress through the booking journey with confidence. We try to deliver this experience at a minimal cost (whether free or paid) in a consistent & familiar way across web and app through our world class performance marketing channels, and constantly building and improving hundreds of thousands of web pages & app screens by providing relevant content and various selection of properties, flights, cars, taxis, and attractions.

B.RESPONSIBLE

  • Take full ownership of defining & building platform-agnostic services used by other teams at Booking to provide personalised landing experience for both web pages and app screens, ultimately increasing our time to market with reliable landing pages and screens
  • Work with engineering teams to design, and deliver software products and services
  • Define strategy and execute on scalable data pipelines and internal tooling 
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers in the track and define the product vision and strategy to deliver top priorities for Booking.com
  • Define criteria for successful integrations with other services and drive execution
  • Work with cross functional teams to drive business impact
  • Value the processes in agile development and look for constant improvements
  • Communicate and influence through data, flexibility and consensus while seeking clarity from ambiguity

B.SKILLED

  • 2+ years of product management experience building technical products 
  • 2+ years of development experience in SOA, Scala, Services and Systems Engineering
  • 2+ years of development experience in Cloud and infrastructure engineering
  • Some experience working with web-based technologies (Node.js, AngularJS etc)
  • Some experience working with Data Engineering platforms & products
  • Consistent successful track record of delivering large-scale, highly-available e-commerce software and services
  • Proven ability to influence technology teams and multiple stakeholders using data, standards and the best practices
  • Experience in new product/platform development & delivery in a complex environment; sizing-up business opportunities and translating them into a product
  • Ability and drive to learn our infrastructure & technical foundations, system architecture and the technical direction of Booking.com
  • Interpersonal skills focused on collaboration, building links and relationships within diverse engineering teams, across the organisation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Fluent in the English language both spoken and written
  • Knowledge and experience in end-to-end solution delivery is a plus
  • Computer Science background is a plus
