Job Description
Reporting to the the Credit Control Manager main duties of the role include:
Job Purpose: To ensure sales ledger invoices are processed accurately and to stringent deadline, in addition to ensure weekly and daily sales revenue numbers are accurate and reported in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Review and confirmation of sales contracts in billing system
Creating accounts for new customers
Completion and submission of customer vendor documentation
Procurement of customer purchase orders for inclusion on customer invoices.
Producing and distributing customer invoices.
Dealing with invoicing queries in an effective and timely manner.
Custodian of all paperwork and documentation relating to the sales ledger function.
Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers.
Update and distribution of daily and weekly sales reports and booking patterns
Monthly calculation and distribution of sales commission statements
Monthly reconciliation of sales revenue between accounting and billing systems
Update and distribution of monthly sales KPI reports
Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood.
Qualifications
- Note this is a junior role and the salary on offer will commensurate as such
Excellent data entry skills – fast and accurate.
Good working knowledge of databases, and Microsoft packages.
Exceptionally high standards and process driven with meticulous attention to detail.
Highly organised and detail orientated, a ‘completer-finisher’. Able to prioritise, multitask and manage time effectively, contributing to multiple tasks at once
A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively.
Excellent communication skills (both oral, written and verbal).
A self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and a down to earth approachable manner.
