Job Description
As a Principal UX Researcher, you will contribute to IFS Cloud, ensuring that the user experience of the latest IFS products - including the framework and a suite of business applications - is usable, enjoyable, and fit for purpose.
As a Principal UX Researcher, your role includes:
- Collaborating with UX Designers, Product Managers, Program Managers, and development teams to gather and evaluate requirements.
- Working closely with teams to plan, facilitate, and support research and user testing.
- Partnering with designers, developers, and Product Managers to define experiment hypotheses and support research and experiment design.
- Validating designs and concepts using appropriate methods, such as heuristic evaluations or usability testing.
- Consolidating research findings into concise, accessible, and actionable reports to be shared with product teams.
- Gaining a holistic understanding of user behaviors, needs, challenges, and motivations through diverse research methods.
- Contributing to the definition, formalization, and improvement of UX research and design processes within IFS.
- Promoting design thinking and especially evidence-based design at the corporate level.
- Educating, mentoring, and motivating UX designers, product teams, and other stakeholders through engaging presentations and knowledge-sharing activities.
All of this is to ensure that we create usable, enjoyable, and enterprise-grade software.
Qualifications
You are an inquisitive UX Researcher with extensive experience, preferably working with complex digital products. You have contributed to the growth of UX research practices before and have a solid understanding of the overall design process. We’ll prioritize candidates with experience in enterprise software solutions.
You are highly skilled in conducting research using best-practice qualitative and quantitative methods, including app tracking and product intelligence. You have experience working with AI solutions for UX research and are comfortable integrating data-driven insights into the product development process.
You have professional experience leading research initiatives and applying a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, knowing when and how to apply them during product development. You have also some experience with data analytics tools such as FullStory, Pendo, Google Analytics, Amplitude, WalkMe, or similar, and understand how to integrate data analysis into the design process.
You bring creative ideas and techniques for productive and engaging collaboration and are comfortable working in virtual and multicultural environments.
