This is a client-facing role with regular travel across Benelux and occasional travel to Ultimo HQ in Nunspeet (NL)
Fluency in Dutch and English is required
About the role
Ultimo is hiring an Account Executive (New Business) to drive net-new customer acquisition across the Netherlands. You will focus on commercial / mid-market organisations within Utilities, Energy, and Logistics — industries where asset performance directly impacts business outcomes.
This is a pure hunter role. You’ll be responsible for opening new accounts, building pipeline, and closing deals — engaging customers where there may not yet be an active buying process.

Your mandate (New Business / Hunter Focus)
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Own and drive new logo acquisition across the Dutch market
- Focus on Utilities, Energy, and Logistics customers
- Build pipeline through targeted outbound and account planning
- Identify opportunities within commercial / mid-market organisations
- Lead full sales cycles from first engagement to close
- Engage operational stakeholders, maintenance teams, and decision-makers
- Position Ultimo through value-led, consultative sales conversations
- Work closely with BDRs, Pre-Sales, and Customer teams
This role requires someone who is comfortable creating demand and momentum, not waiting for it.
How you’ll operate

What we’re looking for
This role will suit someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven success in new business B2B SaaS or software sales
- Experience in commercial or mid-market environments
- Strong outbound / prospecting capability
- Confidence owning full sales cycles end-to-end
- Ability to engage operational and technical stakeholders
- Structured pipeline management and forecasting discipline
- Commercial drive, resilience, and ownership mindset
Experience in Utilities, Energy, Logistics, or asset-intensive industries is a strong advantage.
Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
