Job Description
ISN is seeking a qualified Senior Staff Associate to help oversee a critical initiative supporting the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in the management of external and internal comments related to proposed regulations and policies. This position involves help overseeing the process of monitoring, categorizing, analyzing, and synthesizing feedback received from various stakeholders, including Congress, state and local government officials, special interest groups, professional organizations, and internal federal agency partners.
Duties:
- Responsible for performing work of a technically complex nature; directing and reviewing the work of other staff and the day-to-day management of the professional activity on a project.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of experience and training in social science, business administration, statistics, or science and 5 years of supervisory experience leading technical projects and staff members.
- Must have extensive experience providing regulatory support services for all phases of the federal regulations and policy.
- Must have extensive experience categorizing, synthesizing, and summarizing high volumes of public comment for federal rulemaking agencies in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act.
- Advanced degree in social science, business, science, or similar field.
