ITEC Entertainment is seeking a Technical Director (TD) with a broad range of skills and experience to work with our creative teams in managing, developing and delivering technical systems for world class themed entertainment projects. Because a TD may be called upon to deal with a wide range of technical issues, he or she benefits from a working knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures of theatre, dance, and stage productions and presentations. Technical Directors plan, develop, schedule and provide the technical support required for each show or attraction include design, development and implementation of stages, show sets, audio, lighting, video, projection, show control, ride systems, special effects, show mechanical systems and media production.

Minimum Requirements: At least two (2) years of full-time paid experience as a technical director. Additional experience strongly preferred. A bachelor's degree in technical theatre or a related field highly preferred. Working knowledge and technical skills to oversee a wide range of performance methods associated with dance, music, and theatre. Must be familiar with design, stage management, sound, video and computerized light systems. Strong oral, written, organizational and planning skills. Ability to meet required deadlines and the ability to multi-task managing several projects at once. Able to manage outside technical consultants and design firms. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and working knowledge of AutoCAD computer applications. Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgements and make adaptive changes. Ability to work with a diverse international clientele.
