Job Description

Overview: The Engagement Manager (EM) program was developed for the purpose of helping current and potential Verizon customers choose the best television, data, and voice package available to them. It is a relationship/sales program that is focused strictly on multiple dwelling units (MDU), typically higher end apartment buildings and condominiums. The primary job for an (EM) is to build a strong relationship with the complex manager and or Home Owners Association. The EM, with this relationship, is able to provide the best service available to the building or community. Your goal is to be the main point of contact for all FIOS sales that are generated in the building and you will be compensated for all new television and data units sold directly by you.

Daily Responsibilities:
As an EM you will be responsible for the following activities as directed by your Verizon Coach:

  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with managers, owners and tenants 
  • Scheduling on-site events and negotiating additional marketing tactics: D2D sales, proximity marketing activities, etc.
  • Pre promote events and Verizon offers
  • On-site event execution
  • Set up, break down and maintenance of event site and materials are required while meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Product promotion 
  • Event kit items and product inventory management
  • Administrative Duties (recapping, filing, finance management)
  • Meet and exceed sales goals 
  • Build and maintain relationships with Property Managers/Owners, Event contacts, team members and internal staff
  • Execute pre-marketing and on-site event planning and execution
  • Strong relationship building skills

As an Engagement Manager you will be paid weekly for your Salary plus commissions on your sales.

Qualifications

  • Full-time (Contract Partner)
  • Candidates Must Be 21 Years Of Age Or Older
  • Possess A Strong, High Energy Entrepreneurial Work Ethic
  • Quick Thinking, Problem Solving Attitude
  • Ability To Work Independently And Self-Motivated
  • Basic MS Office Skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Solid Organization, Time Management, Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Imperative
  • Candidates Must Pass Background Check And Drug Test
  • Field Promotion And Proven Sales Experience Preferred
  • Ideal Candidate Will Have A Real Estate, Business/Outside Sales Background, And Telecom/FiOS Experience
  • Reliable Form Of Transportation (Travel Is Required)
  • Must Be Able To Work Evenings And Weekends
  • Bilingual (In Select Regions)
