Job Description
We’re looking for a remote recruiter to help us scale our hiring efforts to attract, engage, and retain top talent. In this role you’ll use your relationship building and organizational abilities to create and implement recruiting campaigns, provide exceptional support to applicants and hiring managers, and assist the team with recruiting initiatives to build our world-class team. You will be our first in-house recruiter.
Where will this role be based?
Work from anywhere you like, as long as you have a good internet connection and at least a 4-hour overlap with Australian Eastern Standard Time (UTC+10) business hours. We have an office in North Sydney, NSW, Australia.
What will you accomplish?
Build and implement the recruitment process, managing it from end to end, including creating requisitions, posting job ads, managing applications, scheduling and conducting interviews with candidates, and managing the offer process while ensuring excellent communication is maintained throughout the process
Partner with People Operations and Senior leadership to build a scalable, objective, and consistent recruitment process
Developing and sharing recruiting best practices across the company
Proactively build talent pools for future opportunities
Provide an excellent candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
Implement the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in the recruitment process, serving as an advocate and facilitator for building a diverse and inclusive team
Continuously improve both the candidate journey and our internal processes
Qualifications
A true passion for your work and be always improving
Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Bring energy, creativity and pragmatic problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented, ability to multitask, plan and execute multiple concurrent activities and priorities
2-3 years of experience as a tech recruiter
Demonstrated expertise in candidate sourcing and selection
Significant exposure to managing recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Bring great experience and ideas on how to improve our talent attraction strategy
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related technical field
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures
Bonus points for
