Title: Devops Engineer/ Lead

Job details:-

Perform Knowledge transition from Development team on build and deployment process

· Work with development to get the requirements of application build and deployment process

· Perform smoke/sanity tests for the applications deployed and also troubleshoot the application for the issues that arise as part of the smoke test process

· Jenkins:-

o Creating, amending, updating jobs

o Updating property files and pushing them through job.

o Deploying applications in QA and System test environments through job.

o Restarting JVM's through job.

· Coordinate with admin teams if case of issue (e.g. deployment, restart etc.)

· Update scripts for deployment or restart.

· Create plans for L1 Production team’s production deployments through ARM jobs.

· Help L1 team to deploy code in performance and production environment.

· Coordinate with L1 team during major production releases.

· Create change & deployment requests.

· Check & validate properties in subversion and GIT.

· Proficient in Ant, Shell and Per Scripting. Should be familiar with Code Management Tools like Clearcase. SCM Process regarding Build, Release and Source Code Management.
