This HR Consultant position will be on-site in Sterling, VA and will require approximately 16 - 20 hours per week. • Bachelors Degree
• Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience
• Minimum 2-3 years experience working with small companies
• Expertise in recruiting and hiring, benefits management, organizational development and employee relations
• Experience managing ATS and HRIS systems
• Familiarity with multi-state HR laws
• Demonstrated experience working with C-level executives
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent writing skills
• The ability to think strategically and develop small company solutions that are outside of the traditional "HR box"

Desired, but not required:

• Active HR Certification
• Experience working with companies in the software industry and / or professional services
