Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The Market Research Analyst will be responsible for performing market analysis including identifying competitive advantages and weaknesses, understanding market trends and identifying potential markets that the company should consider. This position will oversee and contribute to proposals as well as identify, define and create strategic business plans.

Essential Job Functions:

-Identify current competitive advantages and weaknesses
-Understand industry trends nationally and within geographies
-Identify potential markets that the company should consider
-Recommend marketing standards
-Manage long term and short term strategic business plans
-Create and modify business plans
-Monitor Industry wide and target specific capture strategies
-Assist business development staff in specific business capture opportunities
-Take lead in specific targeted business development efforts
-Coordinate and contribute to proposal development
-Assist in pipeline development and management


Required Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing or equivalent experience
-5 years of proposal management experience
-5 years of business development and sales experience in the government sector
-5 years of market research and analysis
-Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office Products including Visio, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
-Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
-Ability to independently manage projects through completion, as assigned
-Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
-Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
-Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
-Experience with fraud detection and or Medicaid initiatives highly desirable
