Job Description

The award-winning (2015 IACP Culinary School Award of Excellence) Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) is one of America’s leading centers for culinary education and recreational cooking. ICE is in search of Culinary Instructors to teach the next generation of chefs in our Career program and eager home cooks in our Recreational program.

What you will do:

  • Conduct in classroom demonstrations as required by curriculum.
  • Deliver clear, concise and organized lectures as required by the curriculum.
  • Assess student performance through observation and interaction, along with written and practical examinations.
  • Have Fun!

Qualifications

Who you are:

  • You are an accomplished Chef with a minimum of 7 years experience in the kitchen, with a background in Fine Dining
  • You have the ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends 
  • You are interested in supplementing your income while maintaining other projects and responsibilities
  • You have a track record of training and developing kitchen staff
  • You want to give back and educate future chefs with some of your real world experience
