The IKEA Food business is also on a journey, and is right now in the process of transforming from a supporting service to the retailers into a core range and supply business. This means that we in the Solution Area Food team now have an important role and task to inspire and clarify how to develop the Food business and find better ways of doing business.
As a Business Analyst you will work closely with the business stakeholders of the Food Business, both leaders and process developers who drive the change agenda for our part of IKEA.

About the assignments
Within Solution Area Food two Business Analysts are needed within the areas of Product Lifecycle management (PLM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- One of the required Business Analyst (BA) will be a part of the team managing our food product information platform (called iFood), which is a PLM solution based on the Infor Optiva platform.
- The other Business Analyst will be a part of the team managing solutions and project related to SCM connected to IKEA Food where the core enterprise solution is the Infor M3 platform.
The users of the solution are based in IKEA Food Services AB and across the Service Offices world-wide within the global Retail organization.

As a Business Analyst you will mainly work with the following:

• Identify, analyse and challenge process and solution improvements though workshops and meetings
• Document requirements (e.g. business requirements, use cases, user stories etc.)
• Support the quality assurance process by validating Test Cases and supporting the Test team
• Contribute to the creation of the process and solution documentation
• Contribute to the creation of the ‘learning offer’ for the solution including training materials and delivery of training.

Qualifications

About you
To be successful in this role you need to have:
• A results driven profile and used to take leadership and coordinate activities.
• Strong analytical skills. You are able to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of it.
• Solid knowledge and experience in business analysis and the requirements engineering process.
• Knowledge of general IT frameworks e.g. standards, infrastructure, platforms, frameworks, development concepts and processes.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Experience in facilitating, planning and managing workshops and activities.
• A willingness to always strive for improvement and you are highly motivated to learn new things.

Our users and stakeholders are global, so travel is occasionally required.
You probably have a relevant university degree. Previous experience working with PLM or SCM is an advantage.

Business Solutions Range & Supply consists of 7 Solution Areas that support and mirror the Range & Supply processes as part of the IKEA Ways of Working-map, including a number of staff functions such as Architecture, Business Development, Business Navigation, HR/Competence and Communication.

About Solution Area Food
The Solution Area supports the unique process needs found within the area of IKEA Food. We lead and develop current and new solutions connected to the IKEA Food business. This is done in projects, major enhancements initiatives or in continuous improvement work. We also support users with communication, learning and subject matter expertise.
Solution Area Food owns the solutions supporting, supply chain, product development, product information management and the activity to plan the assortment for the markets.
We work in an international environment but the primary location for the co-workers of Solution Area Food is in Malmö.
