Job Description

IKEA Industry AB is the parent company and service office of the IKEA Industry Group, located at Hyllie, outside Malmö in Sweden. You will be the third member of a small team of lawyers who work closely together as well as independently to meet the needs of the company.

The assignment

You will be engaged in traditional legal work as in-house counsel, to:

  • Provide high quality and efficient legal advice

  • Advise stakeholders on legal and business risks

  • Negotiate, write and review local and international agreements 

  • Help to develop and implement policies, processes, template agreements, checklists and other tools

  • Manage legal disputes with or without external counsel

  • Prepare and provide legal training to non-lawyers

Additionally the role will support in data privacy issues and be responsible for:

  • Development of steering and guiding documents, including policies
  • Training on Data Privacy
  • Continue to support GDPR compliance activities, including processes and solutions
  • Compliance monitoring

Qualifications

 

  • You have worked at least five years either at a law firm or for an international company and have an University Degree in Law

  • Previous experience of legal work within Technology and/or IT sectors will be an advantage

    You are fluent in English
