Right now we're looking for a Production Leader Film. Someone bursting with creative ideas and sees challenges in new ways of working. Someone motivated by creating efficiency by using time and resources optimally and someone willing to change, develop, learn and share knowledge and experience in their daily work.

As a Production Leader Film, you will manage film productions from start to finish to ensure that each production is completed within deadline, on budget and at the agreed quality. You will be part of developing our production pipeline of high quality films in large volumes, in time and at lowest cost, contributing to IKEA Communications’ aim to bring IKEA to the many people and the many people to IKEA.

In the role you will:

  • Lead a production team assigned for producing Product Communication Films and plan the project from start to finish.
  • Have the operational responsibility on set through all parts of the production and lead the team through the process.
  • Identify the consequences of deviations from the agreed projects plan with regards to quality, time and cost, communicate consequences with relevant stakeholders and secure decisions needed to move forward 
  • Create pre-requisites for film production in large volumes at lowest cost and highest quality with short delivery times.
  • Create and establish agreements on de-brief, quotation, time plan and output and secure delivery within agreed frames.
  • Follow up each project, bringing insights and learnings as input to further development of processes, ways of working, roles and KPIs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • More than three years working experience in successfully managing film productions.
  • Bachelor degree in Communication or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to motivate people, creating a productive work environment.
  • A proven record of consistently meeting agreed deadlines and goals.
  • Extensive experience in project planning, budget management and process development.
  • Experience from designing technical pipelines for film production. (knowledge in Adobe CC and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve is an advantage).
  • Future-oriented creative visions in streamlining, enhancing and automating production flows.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
