IKEA Industry is the world’s largest producer of wooden furniture and is an integrated part of Inter IKEA Group. IKEA Industry has 43 production units in 10 countries with about 18 500 co-workers. Every year, IKEA Industry produces more than 100 million pieces of furniture for IKEA customers. Division Boards is one of four divisions and is responsible for production of innovative and sustainable wood-based boards and panels. The product range includes standard particle boards, thin HDF, lightweight as well as surface covered boards.

Job Description

IKEA Industry is the IKEA in-house furniture production with the role to deliver outstanding customer value by developing production capacities where we create a unique advantage.

To get breakthrough in performance and develop capabilities for the future, we have set challenging goals with our improvement program “Next Gear” that define what we need to deliver to strengthen our unique contribution to the IKEA retail business. The Division Manager has the responsibility to lead and be the change driver for this work as well as secure that every unit is high performing. One focus area will be to speed up continuous improvements by engaging our co-workers and develop our standardized ways of working.

Besides the responsibility to achieve performance, other important parts is about innovation and development of tomorrow´s solutions as well as to secure implementation of IKEA Industry Plans; such as People and Sustainability.

You will lead and manage an organisation with approximately 1000 co-workers in five countries; Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, and Sweden. You will report to the manager of IKEA Industry and you will be part of the IKEA Industry Management team.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role you need to have experience from general management with broad perspective in an international and diverse business environment. You have a visionary mind set and a capability to translate business needs into solutions. We expect you to have a strategic ability and good understanding of our type of business and industry. Your capability to develop relations with the entire supply chain within and outside the company is crucial.

You have ability to lead business through people by demonstrating leadership capabilities, build trust and partnerships for common business direction. You communicate confidently in a clear and comprehensive way in English. As a person, you are structured, proactive and have a strong drive. You are driven by our vision, is a true ambassador of the IKEA key values and do business through people.
