Job Description

As a Food Safety Leader you will have the ability to contribute to growth by increasing quality of the range and the total quality perception. You will also have the opportunity to be responsible for leading and coordinating the area of food safety both globally and towards the franchisees.

Are you up for this challenge? You will:
• Be responsible for leading and coordinating the area of food safety globally
• Be matrix responsible for Country Food safety responsible at the different franchisees.
• Build internal and external network including relationships with relevant global and national authorities, auditors and key suppliers on food safety.
• Develop and maintain global food safety steering documents.
• Secure relevant training and development programs based upon the needs and secure the quality outcome.
• Support business functions in operational questions connected to food safety in general.
• Secure the process for verification and compliance for food safety in the IKEA stores.
• Ensure that best practices and good ideas relating to area of responsibility are collected and communicated to relevant network.
• Contribute to establishing a strong quality culture among all IKEA Food Co-workers.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for a person with education in microbiology and with extensive work experience from Food Safety in the food industry, food service or other food business. As a person you are a team player and networker with a result orientated mind. You have good communication skills and are great with people. You are extrovert and excellent in talking in public. We see that you are structured, customer orientated, have a problem solving approach and accuracy and an eye for details. You are fluent both in spoken and written English.

Preferable you have a broad experience in these topics covering the global regulatory landscape as well as the challenges faced in interpretation and implementation.
