About the job

We are searching for a IKEA Culture and Learning Designer with strong experience to strengthen our team. In this role you will be designing IKEA culture and learning solutions and initiatives based on customer and business needs. You will be part of building learning design knowhow within IKEA that will support our assignment to enable all IKEA people to develop their competence.

About you:

  • Have five years or more of experience and a proven track record with designing / developing digital culture and learning initiatives?
  • Have a strong educational background in human sciences such as behavioural economy, anthropology, sociology, cultural studies, behavioural and organizational psychology or ergonomics?
  • Love to learn and develop every day?
  • Feel attracted by the IKEA vision and the IKEA culture and values?
  • Have a humanistic and democratic approach to learning?
  • Take a holistic view on situations, recognizing inter dependencies in processes and problems? 
  • Have the capability to build trust and relationships with people?
  • Have the ability to communicate complex designs and ideas in ways that are easy and simple to understand?
  • Know how to combine creativity and cost-consciousness?

About the assignment - main areas of responsibilities:

  • Contribute to our understanding of human behaviour and learning
  • Consolidate and develop our knowledge base with regard to the tools we work with and how we can leverage them for learning
  • Work together with development teams to create new learning solutions. Together with your colleagues you will:
  • Perform in-depth analysis of learning needs and target groups
  • Define learning objectives for each learning solution
  • Design learning solutions according to IKEA’s Learning Design Principles, Learning in the Business, and IKEA’s culture and values
  • Brief internal and external suppliers regarding all aspects of the pedagogical approach and secure seamless learning experience for users. 
     

This job is within IKEA Culture and Learning. Our goals are to:

  • Enable a strong, living and unique IKEA Culture throughout IKEA.
  • Contribute to IKEA people in the entire value chain having the competence they need in a rapidly changing world.
  • Lead the HR & Competence assignment for Core Business Franchise, developing our leadership, competence and culture.
