IKEA Components task within IKEA Range & Supply is to pursue the development of future unique and customer friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and trade of raw materials, components and fittings. Job Description

The assignment
• Lead the work in creating and maintaining the IT architecture that steers program/projects by following architecture standards and area blueprints to enable the fulfilment of the functional and non-functional requirements in the solution.
• Be part of the architecture matrix together with other architect roles to ensure a coherent and efficient Enterprise Architecture fit for IKEA Components’ and the whole of IKEA’s needs.
• Responsible for detailing IT functional and non-functional requirements for given business requirements in the business solution delivery process and project management (support with clarifying business requirements if needed).
• Secure, develop and review high-level design. Approve low-level design of the implementation of a business transformation with an IT component in order to support running business, provide guidance towards service improvements and service transition.
• Govern that the design of the solutions conforms to the solution architecture and is efficient, meet business requirements and based on a holistic architecture.
• In a close dialog with stakeholders create and shape business and IT-related ideas into current state, future state and transition states to guide the detailed design and delivery of business solutions.
• In close collaboration with IT architects lead solution activities within the domain, establish solution/infrastructure design in accordance to the architecture and provide technology advice.

Are you the right candidate? 
We are looking for someone with some years of working experience in Information Technology and with significant experience and seniority within the area of IT Architecture (Application and Data) and solution design. It is considered as positive if you are/have previous experience from working as IT Architect, Solution Architect or a technical oriented Business Analyst somewhere IKEA and/or if you have experience from working with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
We believe that you have excellent analytical skills. You are able to see the big picture as well as the details and to structure information and derive conclusions and consequences out of them. For you, quality is important.
You are good at identifying patterns and to explain complex problems and solutions through simplified models. You have solid knowledge of general IT frameworks e.g. standards, infrastructure and platforms, development concepts and processes. 
You are able to interact with strong stakeholders confidently – understand them and their needs as well as making them understand you. 
You are able to work in an environment where the pre-conditions may change from one day to another and where we need to deliver these changes with short notice in order not to risk breaking laws and agreements, but always keeping an eye on the long term. 
You are interested in business and like to see how IT can enable people to achieve business results. You feel comfortable to explain technical information to people in a simple and easy-to understand way. 
You are passionate about IKEA, our vision, business idea and values and you have a constant desire for renewal.
