We now have 1 exciting opportunities for Product Lifecycle Engineers in BA ChiLi with focus on lighting business. We are looking for you with a technical background preferably with in electronics, and whom is ready to take a step into an exciting and innovative work environment. About the assignment
As a Product Lifecycle Engineer, you will be responsible to support the engineering team with daily administration, documentation, certification and verification activities connected to lighting area. You will help to secure that product documentation and product verification is up-to-date according to IKEA documentation guidelines and standards trough out product life cycle. 

Key responsibilities
•    Responsible to perform moderate changes on products including technical requirements
•    Support in securing the complete product documentation during the Product life cycle; 
•    Support in verification and validation activities; 
•    Secure that documentation is up-to-date and according to IKEA Documentation guidelines and standards; 
•    Responsible to act on identified gaps in product documentation; 
•    Share cross Business Areas (BA) learnings about technical requirements/documentation/verification.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role we see that you have a background in technical administration, it is a plus if you have a university degree in engineering. You have a passion for product development, and you have the motivation in the creation and maintenance of product documentation. You are familiar with requirement management and verification planning. Your knowledge in 3D drawings and SolidWorks as well as IT tools Pia, PLUS etc. will be considered as an added advantage. 

We see that you are a committed and self-driven person with a strong will to influence and make a difference. You work in a structured way with analytical skills and to take the lead in planning and executing of your own work as well as in your contacts with internal and external stakeholders.

You have strong communication skills in English and the ability to create confidence and build relations. You are self-motivated and a goal- and delivery oriented person with a passion for details. 

You have a good understanding of the IKEA concept, strategies and processes as well as the IKEA business model and the aspects of democratic design

Additional Information

The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
