IKEA Home Smart

IKEA Home smart was initiated as a project in 2012 with the ambition to enrich life at home by incorporating digital elements and technologies into products and solutions. Several launches within the smart home has followed since then and now IKEA has taken the strategic decision to invest even more in the home smart area by establishing IKEA Home smart as its own business unit within IKEA of Sweden.

By working together with all other departments within IKEA, the business unit of IKEA Home Smart will drive the digital transformation of the IKEA range, improving and transforming existing businesses and developing new businesses to bring more diverse smart products to the many people. About the job
As Project Controller in IKEA Home smart, you lead project management and product development process to ensure that the team delivers to project ambition and time plan throughout the project. You lead project planning, tracking and follow‐up and secure that the team delivers to project ambition and in compliance with the product development process.
In the role you will be reporting to Business Navigation Manager.

Your main responsibilities as Project Controller are:
• Responsible for project management including project planning, tracking and follow up, according to project goal, time plan and KPI’s;
• Proactively lead the product development process, secure process compliance and continuous process improvement;
• Capture and document project lessons learned and utilize these learnings in new projects;
• Administration of the range in the internal product information system and of the projects in the project management tool.

We are looking for a goal-oriented team player with the communicative ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and engage people by creating a passion for objectives, plans and processes. You have a passion for details and excellence in operations. You have the ability to analyse, draw conclusions and to understand how decisions and processes impact the totality.

In the role of Project Controller we expect you to have:
- Experience from leading or coordinating projects;
- Project management and leadership skills;
- An academic degree within Business Administration, Project Management, Economics or equivalent work experience;
- Knowledge from Microsoft Office and project management tools;
- You are fluent in English both written and verbgal.

•    Capability in agile development methods of products/solutions.

The position is located in Älmhult, Sweden. Älmhult has  commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
