Project Leader, IKEA Components

IKEA Components is an important part of the IKEA Supply Chain. We develop and supply IKEA with customer friendly component solutions for better products – and better homes. Our wish is to exceed the customer expectations by providing well-designed components to the IKEA range.

We are currently looking for an IT Project Leader to join our PMO at IKEA Components.  The PMO belongs to Global Support, with the responsibility to define ways of working by providing efficient processes and user friendly IT solutions. Our responsibility reaches from strategic development to operational maintenance of methods, solutions and tools.

As an IT Project Leader at IKEA Components you will lead and carry designated projects or pre-studies. You´ll efficiently work towards reaching set targets according to the requirements and solution descriptions.
In the role you will be responsible for:
 
- Demand and manage resources allocated to the project
- Lead and Report on the project progress
- Lead projects or pre-studies with or without an IT -component
- Secure that the project is lead according to set standards and requirements
- Secure the change management process within the required framework

To be able to succeed in the role you need to have:
- Relevant University degree or equivalent knowledge acquired elsewhere
- Minimum 5years of work experience in managing and leading teams
- Knowledge in general project management processes , PPS in specific
- Experience in working in a digital environment and of leading complex projects with important IT components 
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
