We are looking for an Architecture Manager to IKEA Range & Supply Digital who will lead and have the holisitic responsibility for the digital landscape at IKEA Range & Supply. The position could be located in Malmö, Helsingborg or Älmhult

IKEA Range & Supply is a cluster of organisations with 6500 co-workers spread around the world. We have the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products. 

Range & Supply Digital leads and guides the totality of the Range & Supply digital landscape by combining business knowledge with digital competence, to realize business opportunities today and tomorrow. The Architecture and Technology function leads and executes the Range & Supply technology direction in line with Inter IKEA Group IT Strategy and business priorities, securing a relevant and efficient solution landscape today and tomorrow, through architecture frameworks and standards.

Job Description

As the Architecture Manager, you will be in the lead to build and evolve the holistic technology architecture for Range & Supply. You will lead a team of direct reports and be matrix responsible for the architecture community across Range & Supply. You will also build a strong network with business stakeholders across IKEA. You will report to Manager Range & Supply Digital and in matrix to the Group Architecture Manager and be a member of the management team for Range & Supply Digital. 

More specifically, in this role you will:

  • Be a strong contributor to the architecture capability wanted position and roadmap.
  • Be accountable for defining, monitoring and ensuring implementation of the business solution domain architecture visions, roadmaps, principles, rules and standards in the different areas.
  • Explore and evaluate business opportunities from new and existing technologies and support adoption in line with IKEA strategies.
  • Contribute in defining and developing the Inter IKEA Group IT strategy to best support IKEA strategies. 
  • Align and steer architecture activities across the different architecture domains.

  • Have several years of experience of the application architecture needed to run, develop and optimize a global supply chain. 
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the master data management process and complexity related to digital product development, marketing & communication and commercialization
  • Are able to engage pro-actively with key business and IT stakeholders to understand and translate their expectations and requirements. You also have a strong ability to challenge and influence, based on your area of expertise. 
  • Have the ability and experience to lead, directly and in matrix, teams of technology experts and enterprise architects.
  • Are a strong relationship builder, able to create trust as a precondition for successful collaboration.
  • Have a strong knowledge about state of the art IT architectures as well as enterprise architecture frameworks

Additional Information

The position is located in Älmhult or Helsingborg, Sweden. Älmhult has commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg three times a day.
