Job Description
This position provides support to Interlochen Center for the Arts through the Scholarshop (Retail Store) by growing the music department.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Merchandising of music and music related items within the guidelines and expectations of the Scholarshop Manager.
- Work within an established budget to purchase music and music accessories from existing and future vendors.
- Cashiering as needed.
- Negotiate pricing, billing, and minimums with vendors as required.
- Keep area neat, clean, and organized.
Qualifications
Candidates should posess the following qualifictions when applying for this position:
- Music background preferred.
- Previous purchasing experience helpful.
- Retail experience.
- Past experience working with a diverse clientele.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

This is a hourly, year round part time positon.
