Young artists from around the world gather at Interlochen each summer to learn, create and perform alongside leading artists and instructors. Programs are offered to students in grades three through twelve.

Interlochen brings dozens of world-renowned artists to northwest Michigan, enhancing the region’s position on the global arts map. Interlochen presents more than 600 events each year by students, faculty and guest artists, making Interlochen one of the nation’s largest arts presenters.
Interlochen Center for the Arts, one of America’s most prestigious institutions for arts education, performance and fine arts presentations, has an opening for an Academic and College Counseling Assistant. We have two core educational programs: Interlochen Arts Camp, serving 2,700 students in grades 3-12, and Interlochen Arts Academy, the nation’s premiere fine arts boarding high school with an enrollment of 470-500.
Interlochen Center for the Arts (ICA) is currently seeking an Executive Assistant for the Office of Advancement. ICA, a leading international arts nonprofit, is working to expand the scope of its efforts in donor development and engagement. This position requires a highly organized professional who can serve multiple staff members and program needs with a high degree of competence and accuracy.
Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, the responsibilities of this full time position include:
Overall coordination of the administrative functions of the Advancement office
Calendar, travel arrangements, and travel support for 5 employees, including the Vice President for Advancement
Tracking department budgets, purchase orders, expense reports, office correspondence
Assistance with mailings, phone and email support
Prepare Estate Intention packets for staff to send to Planned Giving Prospects and track progress within Salesforce.
Assist Gift Officers and Grants Manager to maintain clean donation records for all Managed Prospects.
Candidate should possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree demonstrating academic achievement in fields related to the position.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an office setting, ideally in an executive support role
- Creative problem solving, organizational skills and high attention to detail and deadlines.
- Strong aptitude with modern computer and mobile applications, including Salesforce, Gmail, Word and Excel.
- Strong written, oral and technological communication skills
- Adaptable personality that can work with a variety of constituents: staff, donors, alumni, parents
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks amidst the competing needs of the operation
- Familiarity with fundraising for non-profit organizations is preferred.
- Sense of humor and ability to build key relationships that earn the trust of work colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits:
