Reporting to the SVP of Engineering the Software Engineering Director manages two or more agile scrum teams comprised of four to five engineers. The Software Engineering Director ensures that the company culture, development process and best practices are followed. They mentor the team members in software development, provide constructive feedback and annual reviews. They hire and grow the scrum teams as needed.

The Software Engineering director is a part of the entire agile process. They attend planning and daily standup meetings. As needed they provides architectural guidance, dive into bugs and prioritize issues.

• 3+ years of engineering management experience
• 7+ years of software development experience
• Agile scrum management experience. Certified scrum master a plus.
• 4 year degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience managing and deploying SaaS applications
• Solid understanding of object-oriented software development
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience deploying software using cloud computing technologies
• Knowledge of advertising and/or telephony experience are a plus.
