Job Description

This new and integral role will be responsible for building, selling and managing the delivery of consulting and product implementations to Invoca’s customer base. In addition to leading the services team this role will build relationships with the sales, customer success, marketing, product and engineering teams to assist in positioning the appropriate service solutions to drive value, customer adoption and ultimately a rich renewal stream of product, service and maintenance business.

Responsibilities:

  • The business leader for Professional Services: design, plan, collaborate and execute the Professional Services business strategy for Invoca.
  • This role will work with all stakeholders to define appropriate project scope, statement of work, pricing, resource allocation and strategies for all professional services engagements.
  • Foster productive communication with sales teams regarding product offerings, engagement schedules, project progress, and issue escalation
  • Define appropriate service solution packages based upon sales input, customer requirements, technical parameters, and budget
  • Ensure chargeability, bookings, revenue and margin goals are met 
  • Act as a productive mentor 
  • Ensure that Invoca projects meet the customers’ expectations

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in building, planning, managing and measuring a professional services team within a SaaS company.
  • Strong technical competence and background with cloud based enterprise level Saas products.
  • Exceptional consultative selling / business development skills including strong written and oral communication skills, strong presentation and facilitation skills, ability to build confidence and drive agreement, excellent negotiation skills, creative thinking and solution focused as well as strategic thinking ability.   
  • Capable of being highly productive while on the road, managing the delivery of high-quality service engagements and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational expertise. The candidate should understand the key Saas metrics in a services business including MRR, Churn, Cost per aquisition, Average revenue per customer and how these metrics interrelate and can be tuned/optimized to achieve core corporate objectives.
  • Ability to actively lead discussions regarding Invoca service offerings with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Experience acting as an escalation point for service issues
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience building and delivering enablement training to post-sales customers and partners
  • Ability to scope, design, document deployment and integration requirements in Proposals, Specifications and Statements of Work
  • Self-starter and independent, but also able to work within a team environment, helping out when needed on various planning, sales and delivery initiatives.
  • Able to accept constructive criticism and implement relevant changes
  • Ability to understand and communicate concepts quickly, succinctly and accurately
  • Highly motivated, driven and passionate about technology, professional services, training and customer success
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; excellent interpersonal skills; at ease and comfortable working in a client environment
  • Able to plan for and deliver a project on a specific deadline
  • 4 year degree in technology discipline, business or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in a Consulting or similar position
  • 7+ years managing teams 
  • 5+ years of experience running a services team/business with P&L accountability
  • Able to travel extensively to meet customer needs and support sales teams
  • Willing to, and capable of, working from home
