Job Description

Core Responsibilities include:

This new position is responsible for working with the People and Culture team to create and build a world-class culture that focuses on results and performance. At Invoca, people come first and therefore this role will be tasked with creating and managing various projects and processes in support of recruiting, developing and retaining Invoca’s people. These processes include, but are not limited to; recruiting, selection, employee on-boarding, training, performance review, compensation administration, metrics generation, compliance and employee data changes. This role will be equal parts creator, builder, manager, administrator and leader. Be prepared to roll up the sleeves and dive in to a fast paced and thriving team culture.  

• Working with VP, People and Culture to manage the recruitment and selection process and on-boarding a new hire, including, but not limited to, scheduling interviews, disposition of candidates in applicant tracking system, preparing offer letters, arranging relocation, and handling the background and screening processes in a timely fashion.  

• Handles all employee record-related transactions to ensure soft and hard files are up-to-date. 

• Performs transactional services through the HRIS as lifecycle events occur, e.g. new hires, transfers, terminations, promotions, leaves of absence, etc. and proactively collaborates with People and Culture (P&C) team to ensure proper processing of information. 

• Provides informational reporting on routine and ad hoc basis supporting P&C information requirements.

• Creates, plans, organizes and coordinates Invoca sponsored team activities.  

• Ensures all employee files are complete and accurate.

• Pitches in and supports various project management and administrative needs within the department as required.

• Responsible for maintaining various compliance requirements, such as creating organizational charts and reporting.

Qualifications


  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a responsible HR role preferred.
  • Proficiency with ADP payroll service required. ADP Workforce now user preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced start-up environment a must.
  • Degree in related discipline or equivalent HR Certification required.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable; demonstrating good judgment, tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Must be able to independently perform complex and diverse administrative duties.
  • Must be customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to demonstrate and handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently. Must be willing to take initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels and across the organization.
  • Responsive, action-oriented, and innovative problem solver.
  • Experience and knowledge of creating and maintaining HR processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, MS office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Word. 
  • Experience with applicant tracking system desired. Smartrecruiters preferred.
