Job Description

As the VP of Operations, Customer Success (CS) you will be responsible for overseeing the daily CS operations in a fun and creative atmosphere that fosters a culture that engages, encourages and adheres to the company’s core value.

You will Initiate, implement and manage projects and processes to achieve operational CS departmental goals. As such you will also directly support delivery of corporate performance objectives.

You will establish and manage Customer Success budgets, vendor relationships and contractors.

As the VP of Operations you are the liaison to Sales and Finance in the areas of professional services effort estimation and effort tracking, pricing, as well as forecasting bookings, billings and revenue, and revenue recognition.

As the ideal candidate you are an industry veteran in Enterprise SaaS, consulting and delivery of professional services. You are thriving as a leader of and contributor in a high-performing team operating in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment. 

As the the VP of Operations you report to the SVP Customer Success of Invoca as an individual contributor initially, with the expectation of building and managing a team as Invoca continues to grow.

Qualifications

  • Strong desire and demonstrated ability in building and leading high-growth customer success or consulting teams in the start-up and technology space 
  • 5+ years of Operations Management and PMO experience in the Enterprise Software Services space, preferably SaaS, with responsibility for designing and managing to operational processes and budgets in international environments
  • 5+ years Enterprise Software implementation and consulting experience, preferably Big5 
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally, especially with Finance and Sales in the areas of effort estimation and effort tracking, pricing and revenue recognition.
  • Highly productive self-starter. You’re able to achieve optimal results on a daily basis minimum oversight while setting goals and establishing deadlines in collaboration with other team members and other teams.
  • Highly analytical and efficient in mining and presenting data
  • Highly organized with focus on execution, problem solving, and improving processes with existing or new tools
  • Exceptional time management skills and accountability
  • Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
  • BA degree required / MBA or MS preferredCertified in project and program management
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and permanent focus on the success of external and internal customers is an absolute requirement.
