Job Description

The Performance Analyst (PA) will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities associated with delivering and maintaining MedeAnalytics' hosted business analytics services. Working directly with an Account or Project Manager on multiple accounts, the PA will provide support for the successful execution of all client services, including implementation, training, enhancements, and ongoing support. This position will be a key role in a rapidly evolving customer based services organization. The candidate must be a highly organized, energetic person who can think strategically, translate business objectives into technical requirements, and execute with precision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  *   Partner with Account Manager to support all aspects of the MedeAnalytics solution and services:
  *   Oversee client data update process to ensure application is properly updated & operational for client usage
  *   Understand and monitor the quality and integrity of client's source system data. Perform analysis and manage enhancements to improve the quality and performance of the data being extracted from source systems.
  *   Utilize technical knowledge and experience to build close relationships with client's IT resources in order to facilitate the identification and implementation of performance and process improvements in the areas of FTP, ETL, data structure, and business processing.
  *   Serve as backup to Account Manager in client meetings and other interactions, to ensure ongoing client support and satisfaction.
  *   Perform client business analytics of solution data to assist the Account Manager in identifying areas of priority value focus and/or opportunity for return on investment.
  *   Serve as primary liaison to Engineering team for solution implementations and site builds, including the development and documentation of site specifications, and guidance on calculations and ETL processes.
  *   Assist implementation team as required during application enhancements and/or application upgrades.
  *   Assist Account Manager as required with enhancement requests, development, testing, and/or final delivery to client.
  *   Monitor customer utilization and develop strategies to increase usage and adoption of the application within the account.
  *   Continually assess, document, and analyze client gains in efficiency and effectiveness. Constantly educate clients on MedeAnalytics' value to their business needs.
  *   Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight as needed to new team members, in order to ensure seamless transitions and full client support.

   *   Candidates can work remotely any state within US. 

Qualifications

Essential Skills, Experience and Education:

  *   A minimum of 6 years’ experience in the healthcare industry with specific experience in payer health data analysis or operating environment and/or healthcare consulting firm.
  *   A minimum of 2 years of providing direct client support for software and/or analytics solutions.
  *   Knowledge of utilization management and medical management reporting (bed days, pmpm, visits/1,000, etc.).
  *   Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, including the development of customer reports, proposals, presentations and training/communications materials.
  *   Excellent teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
  *   Functional design and data analysis skills.
  *   Outstanding problem solving and organizational skills.
  *   Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  *   Previous experience with a hosted software solution or ASP based model a plus.
  *   Strong data analytic skills including SQL, database warehousing, OLAP and usage of desktop tools for analysis. MDX and Web Application Development experience is a plus.
