JG Wentworth Home Lending is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to conduct timely quality assurance review of mortgage loans prior to loan’s closings date.

 Responsibilities:

• Review loan data prior to submission for accuracy of input and compliance prior to closing

• Ensures procedures regarding mortgage loans are being met according to company guidelines and policies

• Cross reference documentation with information pre-entered into the Loan Origination System to confirm accuracy

• Complete assigned screen checklists to determine if the loan has the ability to proceed to the next assigned milestone

• Conduct the final verification of employment prior to submission of loan closing

• Review the pre-funding closing package from the settlement agent, upon a “pass", issues the disbursement number for outgoing funds

• Perform other related duties as requested

Requirements:

• Associates degree or progressive work experience in residential mortgage lending

• 3 + years of professional experience working with residential mortgage loans with a preference for individuals with experience in processing or closing

• Basic understanding of mortgage compliance and related state and federal regulations

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of Encompass strongly preferred but not required
