Compliance Analyst I- Woodbridge,VA

 J.G. Wentworth Home Lending, Inc., is now hiring a Compliance Analyst I in our Woodbridge, VA location.  An ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter with a proven track record of success in a service environment.

Tasks and Duties

• Perform quality control loan reviews and/or compliance assessments on mortgage origination functions.
• Enter results of findings into testing tracking system or complete assessment worksheets and reports
• Identify and escalate issues and trends to management
• Receive and evaluate feedback on findings from business channels and track businesschannel responses
• Collaboratewith the Chief Compliance Officer in the ongoing development of automatedtesting and other business compliance reporting
  

• Bachelors degree and/or equivalent years of experience in the mortgage industry.
• Must have 2 years of post-closing experience.
• Knowledge of Encompass, Microsoft Office, and other related programs and applications.
• Ability to work independently
• Work on a number of tasks through the workweek.
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Be competent with Microsoft Office and other related programs and applications.
• Flourish in a team environment.
• Knowledge of mortgage origination process preferred, but not mandatory
