Job Description

Provide role based new hire and quarterly training curriculum and delivery for assigned business unit. Evaluate safety and compliance performance within assigned unit and adjust training and supervisor safety meeting topics to drive performance improvement. Deliver quarterly safety training to meet annual refresher objectives.  Continually drive training and auditing protocol improvements.  Audit unit locations and work with site managers to drive corrective action and safety/compliance performance improvement.

Qualifications

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Develop new hire role based training curriculum using online/self-training options to drive efficiency and cost optimization.

  • Develop monthly safety meeting topics by role for business unit – edit/create additions to safety meeting materials to drive safety/compliance improvements.

  • Audit various location sites – audit all safety and compliance aspects, work with managers to develop effective corrective action to drive improvement.

  • Monitor unit safety and compliance performance and tailor quarterly safety training meetings to address training requirements and performance improvement.

  • Provide safety and compliance improvement recommendations to operations management.

  • Identify areas where additional training is needed and develop materials to address gap in compliance & safety (loss prevention).

  • Develop / deliver intervention training where and when needed.

  • Ensure vehicle, driver and facility HSSE practices are being followed and systems are operating properly.

  • Ensure permit and licensing compliance through field observations/audits.

  • Develop compliance expertise and coordinate with fleet and facility subject matter experts to drive continuous improvement in training and auditing.

 

 

Required Skills:

10+ year’s experience within compliance, training and auditing

Oil & Gas experience highly preferred

Must communicate effectively both verbally and written

Advanced Technical skills are a must (Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint)
