Description Position Title:

Lead Performance Engineer The Lead Performance Engineer is responsible for ensuring new systems / application changes meet performance requirements and do not negatively impact the performance of existing systems / applications.

Other responsibilities may include creating / maintaining performance testing and analysis scripts using load runner. Reporting to the Performance Manger, the Lead Performance Engineer will oversee the execution of the load and capacity tests, results analysis, and make deployment and scalability recommendations based on findings.

Primary Responsibilities

-Knowledge of the Performance testing lifecycle, leadership skills and the ability to work well with both business clients and technical teams

- Performance test results analysis and metrics reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders -Should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to handle multiple projects and to meet project deadlines

-Responsible for managing Portfolio performance projects/release work to optimize the team’s supply/demand planning, maximizing resource utilization

-Responsible for Portfolio resource assignment of a global team and coordination between onshore/offshore team to ensure on time delivery

-Oversight of portfolio team’s work products: performance strategy plans and results analysis

-Provides guidance and direction to performance engineers / testers to ensure high standards of deliverables

-Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics and arrive at meaningful and accurate conclusions

-In depth knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)

-Demonstrates proficiency in program and quality management and issue management Technical -Solid experience with HP Load Runner scripting/testing

-Solid experience with DynaTrace Diagnostics or other performance monitoring tools for Performance engineering to find bottle necks, diagnose code and find the error causing the performance issue

- Prior experience in performance testing mobile app and mobile web applications by simulating traffic from mobile devices like iPhone, Android and BlackBerry is a plus

-Basic knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server a plus
