Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join the team in supporting commercial clients with the maintenance and repair of advanced security systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems such as IP-based video surveillance, access control, burg alarm, and related low-voltage technologies.

Qualifications

  • Service and troubleshoot a wide range of commercial security systems including IP cameras, access control systems, VMS, intercoms, and electrified door hardware.

  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure system functionality and compliance with standards.

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain low-voltage circuits, sensors, and wiring based on system schematics and manufacturer guidelines.

  • Install and program components including keypads, backup batteries, sirens, and door locking mechanisms.

  • Document service calls and system updates clearly and accurately.

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, including basic user training and troubleshooting assistance.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and system specifications during all service work.

Additional Information

  • 3+ years of experience servicing commercial security systems.

  • Hands-on expertise with Lenel and Brivo access control platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, IP networks, and low-voltage electronics.

  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics.

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
