Job Description

  • Meet or communicate with clients to understand what they want out of a project, and help them get those ideas out in a workable way.
  • Present draft designs to clients for feedback and amend designs after feedback. 
  • Work on a range of design pieces, from social media posts and ad campaigns to packaging design and full-scale branding projects, such as logo creation, banner design, brochures, emails and websites with a keen eye on User experience (UX) design and User interface (UI) design.
  • Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns. 
  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and develop interactive design.
  • Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Pitch an idea of how to actualize a client’s project.
  • Keep up to date with the latest technologies in the field. 
  • Define most important social media KPIs. 

Qualifications

  • Proven graphic designing experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign…) 
  • Understanding of marketing, social media, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
  • Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media best practices.
  • An open eye on the latest industry trends.
  • Commercial awareness and general business knowledge. For example, how a business sells its products and communicates with its customers. 
  • A keen eye for aesthetics with high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interpret and negotiate briefs with clients.
  • Good presentation skills and the confidence to explain and sell ideas to clients and colleagues.
  • Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects methodically at once and meet all deadlines. 
  • Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure. 
  • Capacity to accept constructive criticism and a willingness to change designs upon request. 
  • Flexibility, and the ability to adapt to different and changing design concepts.
