Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely alongside the Business Operations Manager to determine more effective ways to handle corporate funding, tax management and growth financing. 

 

The opportunity would be ideal for an individual who is looking to progress from a more junior position and will allow the person to develop professionally by taking on more responsibility and making the role their own.

 

The main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Managing cashflow
  • Coordinating monthly payroll – ensuring all deductions are compliant with applicable payroll laws
  • Production of payroll and Contractor payment report for the Operations Manager
  • Raising monthly client invoices
  • Liaising with client billing departments
  • Chasing unpaid / overdue invoices
  • Preparing month, quarter and year-end financial reports
  • Reconciling corporate balance sheets and producing summary reports
  • Overseeing all activities related to HMRC tax compliance issues including VAT returns
  • Preparing the firm’s quarterly cashflow forecasts and annual budget

Qualifications

 

  • Highly organised, numerate, details and data focused. An energetic and action oriented self-starter.
  • Strong written, spreadsheet and presentation skills.
  • Communicative, open, confident - knows and enjoys working with people in order to achieve outstanding results.
  • Flexibility: responds well to change, in-fact - enjoys it. Able to assume many roles, learn, adjust and grow.

Additional Information

The contract is for at least 6 months and we are looking for someone who could be a full time hire after the internship. So there is an opportunity to get a fixed job. 

The current salary that we are offering is 500$ in fresh money.
