Ajjerni (www.ajjerni.com) is a peer to peer (P2P) rental marketplace that allows users to rent items to and from others.

The graphic design internship will focus on 2 main activities:

1. Take professional pictures of customer inventory, edit them using software of choice, and upload them to the Ajjerni website

2. Create professional videos and animations in collaboration with the marketing department

The work will be done in close coordination with Samer (Co-founder) and Nour (Junior Marketer). Responsibilities will include:

Photography

•   1 weekly visit to The Warehouse in Ashrafieh to take pictures of inventory (mainly dresses and clothing items)

•   Editing the pictures when needed to ensure the pictures are of the best quality for the website

•   Uploading the images to the website

•   When needed, visit a customer requiring photography services

  Video

•   Brainstorming advertising ideas with Nour and Samer

•   Coming up with draft video and animation proposals based on discussions

•   Shooting the video (when needed)

•   Creating and editing the winning video and animation ideas

  Qualifications & Skills:

•   Good organizational & planning skills

•   Fluent in both English and Arabic (Written and spoken)

•   Good grasp of social media platforms

•   Creativity

•   Avid learner & team player

•   Photoshop & Illustrator

•   Adobe Premier or equivalent (optional)

Schedule

• Part time 4 hours per day
