We are looking for a truly Emotionally Innovative Joinery Manager based in Dubai. Someone who can contribute and take lead on our growth and passionate journey. Our Joinery Manager is expected to be a positive contributor and a challenger in an interactive and transition-oriented environment. He should be able to oversee our projects from start to finish, he is an exceptional leader and problem solver with advanced joinery project experience. Projects will vary from commercial office fit out and retail spaces.

• Liaises with Design, Procurement and Projects coordinators. Coordinates all shop drawings, monitor and inspect materials, and implements quality control procedures in the execution process. 
• Production site and on-site supervision of workers including subcontractors to ensure work is carried out as per requirements and within schedule 
• Maximize company’s use of assets towards project completion. Ensures that all production equipment are in good operating condition 
• Plan work schedule, manpower, materials, equipment and logistics as per requirements 
• Monitor the project’s progress from conceptualization to delivery. Inspect the quality of finished work, and direct corrective measures as necessary. 

• 5 - 8 years experience post graduation from Degree in Quantity Surveying/Civil engineering/Architecture/Interior Design and will be already based in the UAE, or wider GCC
• Must be capable of running a team of 50+ staff – primarily carpenters, painters, mason, and installers 
• Must be a team leader with proven experience in managing and motivating project teams
• A trade background is preferred – cabinet making/joinery
• Must have well-disciplined MS Office skills particularly excel
• Capable of reading drawings, solving problems, tracking costs
• Time management skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent leadership and communication skills both verbal and written in both English and Arabic language
