Oculi is looking for a strong experienced individual with good technical fundamentals and leadership skills to lead its engineering team. This position is responsible for managing a multidisciplinary engineering team across multiple global locations, acts as the primary focal point for the technical team with Oculi’s leadership and customers/partners, managing schedule, budget, and man power for projects, hiring and mentoring of employees, preparing technical and commercial reports and materials, and assist with sales and new business development

• 10+ years experience with a degree in an engineering or science field such as Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Math or Physics, or any other relevant field.

• Knowledge in Computer Vision / Image processing, with the sensors, processing, and algorithms.

• Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills

• Ability to be an effective leader and mentor of a multinational team

• Creativity in problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills

• Requirements development

• Experience in software development, particularly object-oriented 

• Track record of successful application/product development.

• Working knowledge of C++, Python, and Matlab.

• Working knowledge of VHDL is preferred.

• Working knowledge of Linux.

• Working knowledge of programming for Windows is preferred.

• Effective in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Fluent in English.
