Architecture & Planning

• Prepare architectural and construction drawings showing plans, elevations, sections, details, materials, finishes and other aspects such as layouts, demo, lighting, electrical and finish
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
• Ensuring designs are compliant with building regulations and ADA standards for accessible design.
• Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the interior design team.
• Delivering high quality construction drawings as agreed by in advance with Design Director Communicating with interior architects, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with AutoCAD.
• Following specifications and calculations to create detailed technical drawings. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Degree from a technical college also acceptable
• Familiar with specifications and drawings
• Preferably familiar with kitchen & bathroom design 
• Experience in computer-aided design and drafting AutoCAD 2D (imperial units) 
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team
• Attention to detail
• Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.
