Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer
    satisfaction metrics are met;
  • Negotiate sales contracts; come to an agreement between commercial partners with a focus on
    terms and conditions, specifications, delivery time, price etc.
  • Perform customers’ needs analysis; analyze the habits and needs and customers and target
    groups in order to devise and apply new marketing strategies and to sell more goods in more
    effective ways.
  • Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing
    profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market;
  • Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sale and
    brand visibility for the car dealership;
  • Supervise sales activities- monitor and oversee the activities related to the ongoing sales in the
    shop to ensure that the sales goals are met; assess areas for improvement, and identify or solve
    problems that customers could encounter.
  • Manage after-sales processes to comply with business standards- oversee the progress of aftersales activities; make sure that all work is carried out in accordance to business procedures and legal requirements.
  • Monitor after sales records – keep an eye on the after-sales feedback and monitor customer
    satisfaction or complaints.
  • Build business relationships – Establish a positive, long-term relationship between organizations
    and interested third parties such as suppliers, distributors, shareholders and other stakeholders in order to inform them of the organization and its objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with warranty contracts- Implement and monitor repairs and/or replacements by the supplier in compliance with warranty contracts.
  • Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and
    dealership staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales.
  • Learn and uphold all local and state regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive
    industry as a whole.
  • Devising and using fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies.
  • Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Manage staff – Manage employees and subordinates, working in a team or individually, to
    maximize their performance and contribution; schedule their work and activities, give instructions, motivate and direct the workers to meet the company objectives.
  • Monitor and measure how an employee undertakes their responsibilities and how well these
    activities are executed. Identify areas for improvement and make suggestions to achieve this.
  • Lead a group of people to help them achieve goals and maintain an effective working relationship among staff.
  • Show diplomacy; deal with people in a sensitive and tactful way.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Business Management/Marketing.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a General Manager or Sales Manager for a car dealership or auto group is necessary,
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends.
  • Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Relevant experience in Sourcing and Procurement.
  • Strong negotiation Skills.
  • Excellent Marketing and Sales skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good financial skills.
  • Fluent in English.
