Skysnag protects domains and emails against phishing attacks and provides holistic data and visibility on the senders attempting to send emails on your behalf.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us build and maintain the codebase that powers both our customer APIs as well as internal service APIs. This is a role for engineers that are familiar with standard web backend architecture, and capable in database design and interaction.

What you'll work on

• Directly contribute to the architecture and development of features to evolve Skysnag
• Identify opportunities and design solutions that positively improve the platform
• Cover API lifecycle management and create CI/CD pipelines, define and plan the product roadmap, sprints

• 5+ years of development/engineering experience
• Experience building using PHP, MVC frameworks, and ReactJS (Tech Breakdown: 75% Backend 25% Frontend)
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of SQL and common relational database systems
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda)
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
